New Tire - Size

Hey all,

I am new to the forum and I just wanted to say that this has been a great source for me, and a large reason why I bought my 4runner in the first place. Anyway...

I am replacing tires on my 2004 SR5 with Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 2's and I was thinking of going up a size to the 265/70/17 mostly for looks, and to have a larger tire for Upstate New York winters. Does this create any setbacks? Also, will I have to get my speedometer calibrated for the adjustment? Anyone who has gone up to the size I mentioned I would love to hear your thoughts.

:bravo: always search first. Revo2's are great snow tires!

This is great if you replace your tire more bigger it is better.

I have the 265/70/17 on my 04 Runner and find no problem with the speedometer... I have a 3" OME lift so there is no problem with wheel clearance.. Don't know how they will fit on a stock 4Runner... I am very satisfied with the size...
