New Tires and Leveling Kit

Recently purchased an 03 4Runner Limited, and had a couple questions.

I see there are different types of leveling kits, but not sure exactly what the difference is between them, ie Corn Fed, Daystar, and the Toytec.

Second is it's time for new tires! I currently have Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684II, and they are absolute junk.

These are some of the tires I have been looking at currently. I do mostly on road driving, but like to be adventurous at times

Toyo Open Country AT II
Yokohama Geolander AT-S
Nitto Terra Grappler
Hankook Dynapro ATM
Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs
Cooper Discoverer AT3

I've read good and bad about all of them, but wanted some extra opinions on how they handle, tread life, ride comfort, mpg loss, and couple other things.

As for leveling kits, I would look into the Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts for the front. Maybe even some FJ springs to go with them. I have the bilstein and FJ springs on my 4th gen and I like it.

As for the tires you posted, I would go with the Hankooks. I also have those on my 4th gen. I have about 62k miles on them so far and they are a little past half worn. They balance and ride good, seen ok in the mud and great in the snow and ice.

I had the Yoko's for a little while but I didn't like how they felt, very squirmy.

I had the Toyo's on a different truck but overall I think they are a good tire as well but are a little louder than the Hankooks.

I agree with Ron about doing the 5100's instead of a spacer kit. Your truck is 11-12 years old, those OEM shocks are beat.

I would look at any tire except the Hankook. I didn't have the best of luck with that tire in wet conditions once the started to wear.

Iron man 4x4 makes a pretty decent foam cell shock. It comes with a leveling ring. Similar set up to a bilstein. I love the way mine rides. Floats like a caddy over big bumps but keeps the tires well planted.
