New Tires and Rims!

So i've collected these rims last fall off Craigslist. until today they sat in my garage. painted them gunmetal a while back also and it looks great!. installation looks like it didnt mess up the paint at all. hope it holds up. I used a primer, about 3 thin coats of paint and 2 thin layers of clear coat. Tires are 265/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Lift coming on soon hopefully!

Also the last couple pics are my chrome bumper painted with plasti dip. Its been on for about a month with no peeling. However im going to peel it off and re-do it because it was kinda a rush job. Here are those pics JohnsD90 of those bumpers u wanted!

That looks really good... I think you've got me wanting to paint my 5-star rims now, and maybe putting my white lettering on the inside! Also, I got to say that the TerraGrapplers definitely look beefier than my 265/75 Firestone AT's.

Timmy, Take the brush gaurd off, Spray the front bumper Plastidip, and it looks good.

i really like the outcome of the tires and rim combo. im just waiting on a lift now and thats basically all i can do with a 2wd. I've been thinking about taking off that brush guard, its been a 50/50 battle for a while. maybe mount the hellas on the front bumper for a cleaner look. maybe when i get my lift on i'll decide on that.

as for the plasti dip, i bought it at home depot, however some said they couldn't find it there. maybe just shop around at hardware stores.

i'll get that bumper cleaned up and take some more shots around that angle for the person who requested it

I've been thinking about taking off that brush guard, its been a 50/50 battle for a while. maybe mount the hellas on the front bumper for a cleaner look. maybe when i get my lift on i'll decide on that.

Lights on the stock bumper would be functional and look good but if you wheel a lot, especially with a 4x2 you might wanna invest in a winch bumper/winch. If your gonna lift your T4R and plan on adding a winch and bumper sooner or later, you should beef up that front suspension to adjust for the added weight.... just a thought.

I really like those wheels!! You did a nice job painting them. Matches your truck nicely painted gunmetal...and those Nittos look pretty beefy! IMHO your truck would look even better with the brush guard off
