My 4runner's suspension is completely stock, currently having my 17x8 trd pro rims put on with these 265/70r17 tires. Hope they fit! Didn't realize how much of a difference the size would be, pics don't do justice. The tires on right now are 265/65r17. You guys think they will fit?

You will prob need to trim the front bumper a slight bit. Also remove the mud flaps. But you may not have to do anything. Goodluck, you will like it!

Wait, your 265/70's didn't fit? Or do you just have some rubbing?

When I bought my 4Runner the previous owner had just installed new 265/70's and there was no issue. It was an all stock 05 sport. I only had some rubbing after I installed 1.25" spacers. You may have issues if the offset off the rims you bought is different from stock.

I'm hunting a set of new-take-off BFG mud terrains off a Jeep Rubicon. I think those 255/75R17 on my stock rims should fit now that I installed some Tacoma TRD hardware up front. I'm hoping the slightly more narrow rim than yours, narrower tire and the slight lift will give me enough clearance. I don't really want to lose the mudflaps but if they need to go they'll go.....

They wouldnt fit without trimming or the whole fender would have ripped off! I think its because these tires have a very thick tread, and its an AT similar to a bfg K02

It will work! I had done research on those tires as well and according to some posts it looks like they do. However I think you may need to lose the mud flaps, I could be wrong!

I have TRD taco suspension, TRD pro wheels and run Hankook 255/75/17s. Looks great, drives great, easy on the gas tank and no rubs other than full lock left in reverse. Strange, I know.
