new tires

I need new tires but I'm not really sure what I should buy. I've got a three inch body lift with BFGoodrich All terrains now, so normal tires would look stupid. Any ideas on what I should get to replace? I'm on a budget.

I'm a Nitto pimp since they have very good on-pavement manners which is much better in the wet than a set of BFGs and they are much cheaper in most sizes. They also have been handling off road duties nicely on my truck for over two years now.

What size tire are you looking at? 285's? Toyo Open Country, Bridgestone REVO, Nitto TG are all good tires.

I found a great deal online on a set of 265/75/16 ProComp AT's, and they are fantastic tires. Great in snow, even on ice (they are siped like crazy), and in about everything I have had them in. I used to have a set of Michelin LTX's and the ProComps are even better than they were in snow. I would imagine the only problem they would have would be in thick mud, as the tread pattern is too tight to self-clean. But again, they are great tires, and I have been pleased with them in snow, ice, rain, mud, dirt, and rock. I have gone places in 2wd that it used to take 4wd to get to. Strongly recommend them and will be buying more in the future. And oh yeah, by a good deal, I got them delivered to a local freighter for $460. Don't know if that is above your budget or not. I think I got them from 4wheelparts, but I am not entirely sure.
