Just picked up a 94 for $900. Great body, interior is so-so. Timing belt had jumped a tooth and was running like crap. I put a new ignition cylinder/key in but also noticed a giant cluster of redneckery hanging from under the dash. It was some form of aftermarket alarm/keyless entry.i finally got it all removed but when they installed it they cut the wires about an inch from the factory ignition switch to tie it in. I need to either solder the harness/plug back or order a new ignition switch but have no clue how to remove the factory switch. Can’t find pics or videos either, everything is just about changing the actual cylinder. Any help there is deeply appreciated. I’ve also gotta rip out a miles worth of random speaker/foglight wires this evening lol. Gotta pull the interior out and try to pressure wash the carpet but is there a source for a vinyl prefit replacement floor? I’m also trying to find factory driver seat cloth upholstery in tan. The other seats are ok but the side of the cushion is ripped in the usual spot and I hate seat covers. Any sources out there to match?

no verification but I have heard of people using a passenger side seat bottom cover to replace the driver's side.
I have never heard/seen a vinyl replacement for the interior. Only 1st gen truck, 2nd gen truck & 1st gen 4Runners

This is definitely true. A wrecking yard nearby will be your best friend for this fix. Both seat bottoms bolt in from the side, two bolts each side. Not too difficult of a fix. BUT... it's still old cloth, so if you really want to restore the seats, you'll need a source. I recently had my seat in my '06 Ford redone by a local upholstery expert, and he was able to match it flawlessly. 90's Toyota might be a little more difficult, but a good shop is worth the money if you want to do it right.
