New to 4Runner World, 1988 Lift kit questions

Hello, I just purchsed a 1988 4Runner from a friend who was the original owner. I have plans to put on a 3 inch body lift so I can install 33 inch tires on 15 inch rims. Will i need to install longer brake lines? or ball joint extensions? any help will be greatly appreciated. Still learning the toyota world. Look forward to hearing from you.

Body lifts suck. They look like sh!t and create linkage problems. Besides u don't need a lift to run 33s. I don't. I can provide pics if necessary...:thumb3:

Agree! Don't body lift it. If you have to lift, do it the right way.

No not at all. Just do the pinch-weld mod and ur good to go. I'm also running my 33/10.50s on the original 15x6" rims.

you can run 35s if you try a little.
