new to 4runner world. need advice.

Yo yota people, i'm new to the 4runner world and need some help. I'm coming over from the BMW m3 world :cheers:. So i'm lookin at a 99' SR5 runner with 106k miles. 1 owner, garaged, etc. Just need some opinions. Necessary maitenances, etc for this year/mileage. See attached pic.

Looks clean. I think the first thing to ask would be if it's had the timing belt and water pump replaced.

3rd gen Runners are like a cult truck, super popular for a 10 yrd old truck, great value but if I had to guess I'd say 100% of the folks want a 4x4 and if you're checking this forum you will too, plus there's a lot of them out there so take your time

Just keep the M3, if you want the extra traction get an S4.

Thanks for everyones input. I ended up purchasing it this afternoon and just got home. :guitar3:

I do like the look of the 4wd but don't have any use for it. I was just looking for a reliable SUV.

Now onto looking at pictures and seeing what to do next. Window tint all around is my next thing then who knows....?? Any suggestions?
