I just picked up an '89 4Runner, 249K on truck, 22re (70K on dealer rebuilt), & many new parts, a little rust that needs some attention. The top has never been off.
I've owned 2 CJ's in the past & made the switch to the 4R. Bought mainly as a winter vehicle so I can leave the good car garaged in bad weather. Though I am enjoying the ride so far. I can tell it will be great addition to the stable. I've already taken off the running boards & I'm looking at the 2" suspension lift from toytec.
