New to 4runners...

Just bought my first non-Datsun, 1988 Toyota 4runner. Has 180kmi, body is very straight, 22re w/ 5spd and completely stock other than a small cd player and a dark green paint job (originally red). Picked it up for $1200, so far seems to be a steal of a deal and am planning on using it as my DD. Blew the motor in my 240Z and decided it was time for a 4X4 for Colorado weather. Lots to learn about Toys, but this place has a good amount of info, any other forums I should look into?

If you are looking for 1st gen 4runner specific info, this is a pretty good place for it if you don't mind digging around some.

Other general Toyota forums usually have a sub forum for the 1st generation 4runners as well. Toyotanation, yotatech, pirate4x4. ih8mud and ultimateyota.

Looks like a good deal.No holes in the body or seats .what a find.My first car a 77 280z only three years old when I got her and the main reason I took automechanics in college.I loved that car but she liked to keep me busy.
