New to 4runners

Hey everyone, new to the site. i just bought a 99 limited with 52K miles. Truck is completely stock, for now. lol. i love it so far. Can't wait to get some pics of it up soon. Everything works perfect on it. I am definitely gonna take the running boards off for off-roading, and I need to buy a new front bumper (the previous owner tore up the bottom of it some how). Question is, I need some good rock rails and a front bumper. What are some good companies out there to look at? And cheap is good (I'm a high school student and don't have that much money to blow) but I don't want any piece of crap either. Any help you can give me is much appreciated!

Front plate style bumpers (new) will run you from 750-1500 bucks. Savage off road has em cheaper but they are tube style. Rock sliders are all over the board with the entry level being around 350 bucks. My personal favorite is stubbs welding but there are many companys out there that make these items

I got some Trail Gear sliders for $180.83 shipped for the pair including the gussetts, just need to hang em and paint em still. They are very solid and I got them from Toyota Rock Sliders 58"

Ahhh 52k, I forgot what that even feels like. I had a Lexus for a year in high school, drove it off the lot with 64 miles...hopefully I'll get that feeling again soon after the engine swap!

I have the All-Pro sliders at $269 and then the front bumpers are like mentioned above 750-1500. CBI off-road, Irbis off-road and then ARB, Shrockworks (some think the Holy Grail but with a 3-6 month lead time and 1000-1500)

this is an expesive hobby for a highschooler, im in college and i find it hard to do any moddings, i just do the maintenince on my car basically, but always look out on craigslist for used stuff. i got a brushguard/taill light guard for 80 bucks on craigslist. thats a hella deal right there. for tires, checked used place or craigslist also

I lucked out. My dad is the parts manager at a Toyota dealership so anything he can get I can get at cost.

Most mods are aftermarket, although most of the ones i have done are OEM.
