new to classic t4rs, fuse help!

I recently picked up an 87 toyota 4runner SR5 with no brakes for 500$. I'm a toyota fan, and I enjoy fixing up cars and trucks, so I took it as a project.

I'm a little stumped right now though and need help! I hooked up a new battery, and can't get any power. I found 3 blown fuses, replaced 2, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get my 80a fusible link out from the relay near the battery. I have an idea that's where my power problem is, since it appears blown.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

The fusable link is hooked up to the 80 amp fuse. These fuses are bladed and the wire from the battery (the fusable link) is screwed into the screw that holds the blade of the fuse to the assembly. You have to push the assembly of those two fuses downward to get to wire. To do so, you need to compress a clip in on the side of that two fuse assembly (one 80 amp and one blank).

This first photos shows the fuses and clip. Ignore the second fuse. I installed it to feed an auxillary fuse panel. You probably only have one fuse in this area.
