new to forum 2008 or 2011?

have 2008 limited shadow mica gray, leased. dealer wants vehicle so
2011 limited for 7000 off sticker. Keep the 08 or go for 11?

Personally, I like the 3rd & 4th gen body styles. Also, I think you get more for you $$$. I'm not knocking the 5th gen - if you can get at a good price!

I'm obviously a bit biased, but I'm partial to the 4th Gens. Just not a fan of the 5th, yet. Plus, I don't like the way their used prices are dropping like rocks for some reason.

You can get a preowned '10 with under 20K miles for right at/under $30K. There are 4th gen, low mile Limiteds drawing more $$.

Just something to think about, the new car smell sure is nice though!!!:cheers:

I had a 3rd gen for 14 years....it took me almost all of that to like the 4th gen...I suppose that it will be the same for the 5th gen's Although when I was buying mine in Dec last year, I could have gotten 2010's for under 30K (with Toyota's zero percent 5 year financing) - considering I bought my 1997 new from the dealer for 33K - I did give it some serious consideration.

Glad you mentioned just that. My first one was an 06 limited silver again a lease lease up got the 08. When the new ones first came out I decided they got fat looking and they were not as sporty looking. Then I saw the 2011 in silver and that did it. Just waiting for hubby to say ok, (almost there) have 4 months left on 08 lease I could still end up keeping the 08, she rocks.
