Hi - Metzbower here. I found this forum while looking for a way to improve the ride on my 2007 SR5 V6 4wd 4Runner. Had some great input already and about to pick up a very slightly used FJ suspension and do a complete swap out - without adding spacers. My 4runner has almost 90k miles on it and it will get at least another 25k a year.
One question - when I bought my 4runner I had Tweeter (no longer in business) remove the stereo head unit and front door speakers and put in an Alpine head unit and Polk speakers. They had a plan to re-install the original unit at any time at their cost - but they are now out of business.
Is there any market for the original head unit and all the door speakers? If I ever swap out the head unit again, I wil go with an even better aftermarket system.
