New to me 4 runner and some minor issues

Just about the finalise a deal on a 98 SR5 155k. Gave it a good look over and couldn't find anything glaringly wrong with it. I think my biggest concern was rust, no body rust, and minor surface rust on the under carriage, very minor considering age, year and location. Next I start reading about strawberry milkshakes... just a heads up I hate strawberry anything and I can add this to my list. This issue alone almost scares me away from this truck... but after much checking and rechecking it looks to be in good overall shape.. Besides wear on the interior and steering wheel, the only 2 issues are the power antennae wont go down fully, and the center console A/T shifter doesn't display the correct gear, but the dashboard does.

I see plenty of threads about the power antennae but none on the console shifter issue. Is this something I need to concern myself with, or can I just pop open the center console and adjust this myself?

yes, worse case head to a junkyard and pull one for a few bucks

tacoma antenna, just takes a minute to install.
