New to me 4Runner

Picked up my first 4Runner today. It is a 1999 SR5 4WD 5VZ-FE 5spd manual.

Thanks. I think it is Horizon Blue Metallic. I will prob black out the chrome with Plati Dip.

Changed the oil today, was glad to see the previous owner used an OEM filter. Glad i did it today, found the oil drain plug finger tight!! Also decided to black out the chrome. The rear bumper is tomorrow's project.

190k. It was a one owner, he took really good care of it. It was either 99 or 00 for the last of the 5spd.

Blurple...thats what my girlfriend said lol! I had a 98 Tacoma back in the day, same color. Thanks ill check it out. Just got tires 265/75s. Need to replace the rear coils due to some sag. Looks like this truck has the Highlander coils, so ill prob just replace with factory coils....

Nope. Our beloved blurple (it changes back and forth depending on the light. VERY purple in the sunrise) is Stellar Blue Pearl.

HBM is much lighter and does not achieve true purpleness.
