Pricing list on Website
Can you tell me if the price you posted was a negotiated price? I see that it is listed for $18,993 on their website as an Internet price. Can you also tell me if you've encountered other web pricing to also be negotiable with 4Runners?
I am interested because I'm going to test drive one tomorrow in CT and another in MA.

That runner looks good. I bought my runner used too. With the economy the way it is right now, and all the car companies bleeding red, you can haggle any price. The problem with saving money on the front end is it all goes out the back end on up grades. Well at least it did for me. If you plan on wheeling that runner, get your wallet out. Congrats on the new runner.

Toyota is offering low financing for 66 months on certified 4Runners. I hope to take advantage of that deal barring any credit problems which there should be non.
What do you guys think?

Wow, 2 2005 4Runners that members want to buy. I have noticed that new prices have come down a bit, but I have really notice the used prices are down even more. It hasn't always been like this. In 01 I looked at used 4Runners and it seemed that were not much less than a new one.
Both the SR5 and Limited seem to be good deals. I think the Limited is really sharp.
A lot has happen in my life the last week. My boss was looking at new 4Runners, as was I. He decided to get a 2006 SR5 with a V8 and 27,000 miles last week. He bought it for $17,000 and the seller owed $21,500 on it. In other words, the seller had to take a $4,500 hit.
Just 2 days ago, I came across a 2004 SR5 with 41,000 miles and I ended up buying it. Sure, I like new and the prices are pretty good, but it is hard to ignore the prices of used ones. I haven't bought a used vehicle in years, but to me it made sense.
So, I am somewhat biased, I would say take a good look at them, have a trusted shop check them out and go for it.
A word of warning, everyone expects the price of gas to go back up, but if you new a nice used vehicle, it may be a good time to buy, IMHO.

Well long story short: when they posted this add on the first day price was $17,993 and then they went up by $1000.00 so when I went to negotiate they accepted $17,993 because I had a printout. Then they naked another $300.00 of that because truck only have one key and one key-fob. By the way this is SR5 with leather interior.

That is one sharp looking truck and I think you got a heck of a deal. 4X4 with leather and only 27,000 miles. I have been reading parts of my manual, it looks like you have to go to Toyota with the key and little metal tag, in order to make another key. It doesn't look like you can go to home Depot and buy one. I wonder what they cost?progress4m said:
