New to site and 4Runner world

Hey Guys...Just bought my 1st 4Runner last week. It is a 97 SR5 I belive I got a great deal on it. I have no mods...but I just changed timing belt and valve cover gaskets!! (those stains on the ground aint mine)

Clean car dude! I recently signed up on this website a while ago and and I had absolutely no mods on my baby until I made a new thread regarding HIDS and my "mod project. I now have HID's thanks to this forums and my next purchase will be LED's :) Enjoy! These guys and girls are awesome and they will try to help you!

Yes it is anthracite metallic...4X4 and it has 189500 (miles)
not sure of anything just yet on the mods..tint the windows maybe some other things

Dude, if you're going to tint the windows, go for 20% front windows. It'll match with the rest of the windows all around and it will look sweet. It'll probably cost about $130 for 20% tint depending on the film quality the tint shop would use to tint your windows. Get some HID's if you want. I just got these bad boys ;

I got the 6000k one and let's just say it's a huge change from using the stocks. :D

Take some pictures of the HID's. :bigok:

Yes 20% will match best, but should only cost $60-80 for the front two.

I got all my rears done for $140.

I'm trying to figure out how to disable flash on my mom's canon rebel camera. It lights up the whole sky when I take a picture and it puts the HID's to shame. -_^
 
yep, might as well start saving for your first mod, even if you don't know what it'll be! a lot are free/cheap though.
 
take off your running boards and trip your mud flaps, paint your rims and or bumpers, vent visors are pretty cheap. just got to e bay and search parts and accesroies for your year 4runner.
 
On 3rd Gens the mud flap consists of a painted plastic piece and then another black plastic piece that extends even further. Many people like to cut the black piece off.
