Hi all,
Hope that all is well. I just wanted to introduce myself, as I've just picked up a 2007 4Runner as of about 1 1/2 weeks ago. My name is Sean, and I live in Kingwood, Texas. I've always liked the 4Runners, but I have to be honest, when the design change came along in 03, it took a while to grow on me. All I have to say is "what a GREAT vehicle!" I mean, in college, my first car was an 88 Toyota Cressida that my parents bought new. When they gave it to me to go away to school, I hadn't changed the oil in about a year and a few months. (What does a 17 year old know about changing oil.) Although I'm 29 now, I'll tell you what though, that 3.0 litre STILL ran like day 1. After that, I owned a 93 Eclipse, which was a POS, and three American vehicles, all Pontiacs, which all turned out to be rubbish.
I'm just having fun with the 4Runner. I have been checking out the forums over the last week, and everyone seems helpful and so, and that's a good thing.
Do you all have yearly gatherings and group meetings and so? What about localised chapters?
