Hey guys I'm new to the forum and new to Toyota and 4runners! I just picked up a 95 sr5 3.0 5 spd with 165k mi on it and I'm liking it so far, but I have some questions...

How do I lift up the rear seat bottoms to access the seat belt buckles which are stuck underneath the seat?

Where the he'll is the trans dipstick? Lol stupid question but I can't find it....and I'm pretty mechanically inclined...Usuallyits right next to the oil but I'm not seeing it!

Not sure about the rear seat, but if its a manual I don't think it actually has a trans dipstick. I may be wrong though. My auto has a red one though right next to the oil one.

correct if its a 5 speed no dipstick. and to get the seats up there should be a little strap that u pull if not then you can just grap at the back of them, were they meet the back part and pull it up they hinge up, and your jack should be under there as well

Where is the strap located? Middle or on of the sides? I tried to feel for a strap and can't find it...either it's been ripped off or is tucked way under the seat

Manual trannies don't have a dipstick. There is a fill/check plug on the pass side of the trans, about halfway up. Remove the plug and the fluid level should be even with the bottom of the hole (or oozing out a bit).

Great thanks everyone! I finnally found the strap tucked WAY under the seat and buckles. Found a nickel too...lol getting my money back
