new to the 4 runner club lift question

Just bought my first 4 runner and love it to death!
2005 v8 4wd but the factory stance is killing me and it needs a set of tires so I figured id raise it up a little and go up to the next ive done alot of searching and for now i just wanna do a 2/1 lift cheap and 265/70/17s
I was looking at this on ebay and wanted some opinons?
is the diff drop necessary for only a 2" front lift?

From what ive read in previous post you really dont need a diff drop for a 2in lift but if the kit comes with one then i wouldnt see any harm in putting one in since it does take only a couple minutes to put in.

diff drop isn't necessary, you'll find that once you do the lift your cv's will actually be basically parallel to the ground, and hardly angle downwards at all

Don't waste your time on a diff drop. At 2" lift, the CVs will most likely be level. I would recommend going with Bilstein 5100s all around if you're on a tight budget. I would also recommend going with FJ springs if you can afford it.

thanks guys I guess Ill but it and report back on the quality, on a older truck I had bought some daystar poly (rubber like) spacers and they didnt last very long before they broke apart, The bilstines do seem like a good bang for the buck witch I could always add later.
