New to the 4Runner World with a 1987 1st Gen

Hello all, Steve here. Just purchased a 1987 SR5 here in PA. Looking for a solid community to bounce ideas off of, get advice and solve problems. The runner's got 167k and Im STOKED to work on it. Fresh oil, coolant, spark plugs and spark plug wires. Only thing I have to figure out is a power loss around 50-55mph but I think its the TPS.

Looking to get some new tires, maybe a lift and make it a truck for heading into the woods for adventures. Can't wait to get it up an running.

Welcome to T4R Steve! Other than a bit of rust, she looks pretty straight. I'd add cap n rotor, belts n hoses, and fresh gear oil. Good luck and see u in the Classics Section. :first:
