Hey all, just wanted to post some pictures of my truck now that I've done my first real mod. I got my 2002 SR5 back in March. Sold my 2005 350z since I just got a dog, will be moving soon, and desperately need more space. I loved my Z, but I had to let it go. This site has been so helpful and hopefully soon I'll have enough moola to get a nice lift and tires. My 4runner has been awesome and while I do miss my Z, this 4Runner has been exactly what I needed. Hell, even my girlfriend got jealous of by 4Runner and 2 weeks after I got mine, she got one herself. Of course she had to get the 2003 Limited V8 to one up me, but that's a whole different story. haha

Of course the first thing I did was put in a Pioneer headunit and remove the running boards
One of the reasons why I wanted the 4Runner, the roll down rear window (you dog owners know what I'm talking about)
Then I decided to plasti-dip my emblems after seeing everyone do it on theirs. I ended up peeling off the part on the chrome license plate trim since it didn't stick.
The first mini mod I did to it was paint the chrome grill to color match the truck. I was about to buy a color matched grill from Toyota, until they quoted me for $250 for it! I said screw it so I spent $50 bucks on paint/supplies and did it myself.

Then I finally bite the bullet and did my retrofit with FX/R projectors. Well worth the $280 (after 25% discount code)
Cell phone pictures don't do the obligatory nighttime warehouse pictures justice. these lights light up 4 lane freeways! Was definitely nervous about doing this, but the countless write-ups on here eased my mind. No kidding on measuring 10x and cutting once. I ended up cutting the hole in the reflector a bit too big. Thankfully it wasn't too bad.
