So I've been lurking around here for the past while as I was deciding on my vehicle purchase. It came down to a Tacoma DC, FJ, and 4Runner with the 4R winning out in the end (obviously 
). After waiting a couple weeks for it to get here my silver 2011 TE was delivered on Tuesday and I've been loving it since then. It's currently stock with the exception of Michelin LTX A/T 2s and a stubby antenna with Husky liners on the way. The truck is going to be my fly fishing vehicle and daily driver so it probably won't get modded out much.
Speaking of the stubby antenna, I was driving around to some part stores on Friday afternoon looking for one. On my way from one shop to the next (yeah I could've called ahead but it was way more fun to drive the truck around) I'm stopped at a red light and an FJ Cruiser pulls up next to me. He rolls his window down and starts asking me about the 4R, telling me how good it looks, that he's thinking of trading his FJ in for one, etc. Of all the vehicles I've owned this is the first time a complete stranger has stopped me like that so it was a pretty cool feeling.
Anyhow, thanks to all the posters on the forum for providing so much useful info that helped me make the final decision on what has so far turned out to be a great purchase.
