Recently bought a 2007 Limited 4WD, LOVE the truck and am planning some mods in the near future. I've been lurking for a little while and am seriously considering the following setup:
-OME lift, 885s front, 895s rear
-Swapping out 18" Limited wheels for 17" 2014 TE wheels
-All terrain tires- debating between Goodyear All-Terrain Adventure w/ Kevlar and Michelin LTX A/T2
-Removing stock running boards, installing rock sliders
Some feedback from personal experiences and pictures of similar mods would be much appreciated!
Has anyone put 2014 trail wheels on a 4th gen 4runner?
As for tires, I drive for my job so mud terrains are out of the question and I'm looking for a more road friendly AT tire. I don't do any seriously challenging off-roading or rock climbing, but want to start hitting some trails and ORV parks soon. Any good/bad experiences with these Michelins or Goodyears?
I really like the look of Shrockworks sliders, especially with the dimpled tread plates, but would love to hear from those that have had great experiences with other brands!
