I am a new member and a new 4Runner owner. I picked up a beautiful '02 Limited 4x4 today. It is green with tan body moldings, tan interior, and low low 34k 1 owner miles. Fully loaded with all avail options. This is the second 4Runner that I have owned. My previous was a '97 Limited, and I loved it and really missed it.
I also have two Nissan Pathfinders, a '95 SE with leather and 4 wheel drive, and a '05 Pathfinder SE 4x4. I am a Nissan nut as well as a Toyota nut. I am part of the NPORA forum as well, and I really look forward to chatting with all of you and gaining a increased knowledge of my new ride. Which brings me to my first question... on my '97 Limited I had the rear diff lock. On my '02 it had a center diff lock. What is the advantages or disadvantages to having the rear diff lock compared to the center diff lock?
