Just checking in to say "Hi".
I'll be doing a lot more reading on here since I just bought my first 4Runner yesterday.

I'll call these the "Before" pics.

I am wanting to get the OME HD springs for the rear since I Will be hauling heavy stuff in the back.
On one site it says the OME HDs are 2" lift springs. Does that mean 2" higher than stock, or 2" higher than where my saggy butt is now?:wow:

Uh, that would be from stock--it's the known baseline (only you know how far it's sagging--that could be any height). In other words, if that's all you replace, you will be rather high in the rear when done--if you don't want the entire lift kit (which would be the way to go), you may want to find some stock height springs instead. Looks like you have a good start--truck looks pretty clean. Welcome to the forum!

I want to return it to stock height. I was hoping some HD springs would help when I'm loaded up.

If you're not sure about the springs, try asking in the "Classic T4R" section about HD replacements at stock height. Those guys know their older rigs, and can point you in the right direction (I'm afraid I don't know a specific source for stock height stuff).

I've been reading in there for a couple weeks now. Lots of good info on the Gen 2s.
I'll do more searching in there before I post a thread that may be a dupe. It's probably a common issue.
