New to the Scene - Need Help - 1992 4 Runner

Hello All -
Just purchased a 1992 4Runner - 6cyl 4WD Automatic -
Bought for the sole purpose of learning the basics of Off - Roading -
Not sure where to even start....trails....Lifts...accessories....etc.
I live in the Socal Area and am close to Big Bear Lake so there are a ton of trails that I can try out.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Trails

Keep an eye on this setion, members often post about an upcoming trail ride, you can ask about the difficulty and decide. I had good trips with groups to Cleghorn and Santiago Peak. Also there is Azusa Reservoir off-road area. It's only open on weekends and is a good starting place to learn about your 4Runner. There is entertainment with the mud people running in the bad stuff, you can watch from a safe distance.
I included 2 photos of Azusa. I would not mind going again, if you are interested let us know and maybe a few others will join in.

Thanks BobsTrail! I will have to look into this. I wouldnt mind getting a group together to go and hit some trails. Let me know when we can work this out.
