New to TR4, Q about rear axles

Hello, just joined the forum as I just bought a 2001 SR5. I've noticed in the pics section of the forum under "what to look for when buying used" that the rear axles rusting is of concern. My truck is in great shape (I took it ot the dealer for a once over) and only has 85k miles. I do not plan to do more than light off-roading, if much at all ... mostly a daily driver. Any concerns with the rust or is it normal wear and tear? Any tips or tricks for a newbie would be great as well. Thx!

A little rust probably isn't a problem, but if it's deeply pitted and chunks are flaking off, then it could be. A picture of your axle would help.
