New Toyota Emblem?? Logo??

Everybody is excited about the 5th gen 4Runner, What if, it will have a new Emblem design?
like this Rav4:

In Thailand...their RX350s confused me.

Some had Toyota emblems.
Some had the Lexus emblem.
& Some had this funky bird emblem.

I don't know too many people that are "excited" about the new 4Runner but maybe a nervous anticipation of what direction Toyota is taking it.

That's the exact funky bird emblem on the Harrier that I saw in Thailand.

That new Toyota "emblem" will be new here in the US but certainly been used for a while in Japan.

You know there is a Chinese company and they have all the same products of Toyota except they have a different name, emblem and all. This might be that company. They had a 3rd Gen 4Runner... that was a truck. It looked pretty cool.

Lexus as a brand was introduced to Europe and Asia for 2008 or 2007, prior to that Lexus models were Toyotas.

Lexus SC was the Soarer, GS was the Aristo, RX was the Harrier, IS was the Altezza, LS was the Celsior. Don't remember the ES' name.

The bird emblem is janky looking. Toyota should just stick with the circle T it currently uses now, rather than go through an emblem identity crisis, like Mazda. From 1993 til now Mazda had three different emblems. The earlier Wankel style emblem was rounder and then it got boxier and now the seagull looking thing. I don't remember where I saw it, but it was Honda's claim to fame that they've always had the same boxed H since their debut in the US and they never went though emblem changes.

I think those are reconditioned Toyota vehicles...If I remember.. its called saifo??

But those pics are from the Toyota site - Japan. Some new model vehicles have different front emblem

But to the orig. question , they are not like that around here.
