Went to dealer to pickup my TRD CAI and took a look at a dealer equipped TRD T4R.

Nice looking with the lift, wheels, exhaust and stuff.

But they bump on a additional 6k to the price which is crazy.:bash:

That TRD FJ looks pretty sharp, I have seen two at two different dealerships,

I would buy one, but I want a V-8 in that bad boy!!!

theres a few things toyota should of done like the 01-04 tacoma d-cabs they only came in a auto umm no thanks and the 4th gen 4runners i like those alot but no manual ? who here thinks a 4.7L with a 6spd would be a awesome combo

I actually prefer auto over manual in off-roading...this is the current trend in off-roading i believe. Manual is better at descending hills...auto is better at ascending them. Auto also allows for you to enjoy the other aspects of off-roading more.

The sweet combo for me is the new 6-speed auto in the Tundra with any engine.

I think the FJ looks a lot more "grown up" with a body-color top. For a while, I was thinking that the FJ should have been the first Scion SUV!

I totally agree;the auto just makes things easier but a good tranny cooler is a must when the trails get rough. I'm getting a Hayden cooler this spring.

I drove an all black TRD FJ. Nice, I was suprised how nice it was. I was cleared for takeoff to buy it by the wife, but, stuck with my 4runner.
Maybe next time around. It has less room inside, one thing I did not like. But, it looked bad.

I love those FJ's with the right mods you can make them look hella good while still having a great, and very offroad capable truck.

The number 1 complaint I keep hearing about the FJ's is the white top. I guess if that's the only complaint, they're doing good!

The exhaust note on it was fart can all the way. I would get sick of that real quick. Trick looking, but I dont think its worth the premium price.
