New TRD Pro

It drives great. The ride feels real sturdy. Due to only 30 miles on it so far, I have not really got on the gas yet. Coming from a Tahoe, it has a lot more room inside than you would think. I'm 6' and 220 lbs and do not feel cramped at all. My brother is 6'2" and he could not believe the room. I have not had time to go through all the button, dials, etc yet but Saturday down here is going to be a crappy day so I think me (and beer) will sit in it in the garage and try to figure everything out. Believe it or not, it is supposed to snow in the N.C. mountains (Hour and a half drive) Saturday, may head up Sunday to have a little fun. I think you will love it.

Hey Roscoe, Hope you are enjoying that sweet new ride! Wifey and I went to camp/play in the Grandfather area this weekend. Much fun was had. :cheers:

Loving those TRD Pro's, they look great gentlemen. I was just at grandfather Mtn a few weeks ago, good times.

It really eats the snow up...We couldn't find many roads that were not yet plowed, but the few that we did find were no problem at all. Even on steep grades in slick slush, the 4runner really inspires confidence!

Lol, very cool. My parents own a thoroughbred horse farm in Roan Mountain so we get up to that area 5 or 6 times a year. We love it up there and hope to someday retire in the area. It will have to be the TN side though. Can't afford the NC area, lol.
 
Did those running boards come with the pro? I just picked up a pro over the weekend and was interested in this style, I looked online but it says this style is only compatible with sr5 and limited. Obviously not since you have them on. Please get back to me ASAP my girlfriend refuses to ride in it until the running boards are installed.
 
For what it's worth, mine came with the round tube step bars. I was told it came no other way (I wanted to delete them all together). Clearly that was not the case.
