Maybe the GE dryer we ordered in April is in there with the grilles. :doh:

So I got my grille today. Can anyone give me a suggestion on how to attach the hood latch to the bottom of the grille?? Pictures would be awesome cause the grille doesn't have the housing my grille has for the hood latch.

That would be great. I hope we all got the same grille, just different Gen's.. I'm waiting on some clear coat then am going to take the old grille off and see what is up.. Hopefully it will be a no brainer..

Ok so the above pic is the back of the grille and shows the bottom with no attachment.. Hope this helps. For 06-09 runners.

Ok guys I figured it out. There is a piece that runs along the bottom of the old grille that comes unsrewed and the lower latch fits to it. Got it now...

just ordered one with lights. Just so people can keep track, went with ocean freight.

Mine JUST got into customs clearance house. after sitting out off shore since 10/29 and ordered made 9/22.

SO coming up on 2 months total ship time.

I bought a new seal from a dealer called Modern Toyota. It was 15 bucks. I got it but until I take the old grille off and look at the old one I won't know how to install it. It is pretty flimsy and stuck on with 3m tape. Am clear coating the new grille right now. Stay tuned, news at 10..

Here's the grille with 2 coats of clear coat on it. I am using Rust-oleum 2X clear coat...
