Thanks Toto,

I have the driver seat squeak/creak going on right now.....but I didn't know if this was still a problem for 2006 4RS. The TSB says they apply white grease to 8 locations. I wish the TSB would show those locations, Iwould just do it myself.

i checked my VIN and mine falls into "DTC Codes Related to EVAP Controls '05-'06"...

can anyone elaborate what this is? is it necessary to do it?

According to the TSB, they'll only change the part if your computer is throwing all of the listed DTC codes, indicating that there's an existing problem with the evaporative emission control system. If you don't have a check engine light, they won't do anything.

The EVAP system is the control for gasoline vapors in the gas tank. Just like exhaust emissions, the EPA regulates the amount of evaporative emission that's allowed to escape from the gas tank.

Remember that TSB's aren't recalls - they're just known solutions for problems that customers *might* come in with.
