Hello all. Today I found a new use for fiber ties. As I was driving down the interstate doing 75, my 97 4Runner front end started shaking. I didn't know what it was so I pulled off the next exit for an inspection. After checking the tires I took a look under the passanger side and found that the bolt between the sway bar and the lower control arm broke. I was not anywhere near a parts store so I used some fiber ties to keep what was left of the bolt tied to the sway bar. My drive was almost all interstate no turns so I thought what the heck. I drove another 70 miles to a Midas with no problems. Who needs metal coat hangers for repairs?
