New use for the 4Runner

Lunch break getaway! I've found that my 04 runner makes a great place to hang out in during my lunch break at work. We have roof-top parking so there is a nice breeze and a great view. I simply slide the passenger seat all the way forward....... remove the headrest, then recline it. Now when you sit on the rear seat, it becomes a very comfortable recliner with a foot rest. It's just a matter of folding down the rear armrest for my drink, and using the rear seat audio remote control to control the CD player. If you haven't tried this yet, that rear seat with the front passenger seat folded back sure is comfortable! If only we could recline the rear seat, it would make a great place to sleep when camping without a tent.

That is a very good idea. I will definitely try this one day. The only problem is I don't have the rear audio controls so I would have to reach up front and control my music! What a shame.

I guess the 4Runner is not only an SUV, it is also a cafe/lounge.

during the winter months, i would fold down the passenger seats and make a bed to try and catch some zzz's during lunch. i kinda have to scrunch a little but it beats sleeping across the passenger seats

Watch out...Starbucks may built shops around your 4runner to compete with you!
