Received and installed my new Wet Okole seat covers today. I ordered just the front seat covers.
1-Full piping
2-Main seat color is Taupe #100
3-Piping color is Black #12
4- Full seat back pockets
5- TRD Off Road seat graphics in black(you have to call and ask for this graphic as its not in the web site examples)

My original leather seats were not in the best of shape. The drivers side was worn and torn and the passenger side was decent with definite wear but no tears. I ordered swatches because I wanted the best possible match. I highly recommend ordering swatches as they did not look much like the online color but part of that could have been my computer screen. I eventually settled on Taupe #100 as it was closest in color to my factory leather. I ungraded about everything including going with the full piping option which gives the seat a solid color instead of the black outside edges. I also opted for the TRD Off Road graphic. All things considered it came to $354.00 for the front covers but they are pretty sweet looking and I'm totally happy. Once I had received the swatches and made my decision it took 30 days from the day I ordered them to the day they arrived at my door.

Installation was pretty straight forward and simple maybe taking me 45 minutes. Fit is excellent and very tight feeling especially compared with any other Wal-mart or auto parts aftermarket seat cover I've had. They really make the 4runner look nice and clean also. The seats also feel noticeably more cushioned yet firmer.

Installation note- Be Careful.. There is a lot of grease under the seats on the tracks etc. I had to continually wipe my hands with go-jo wipes to keep from staining the new covers. Also I had a under strap crossing something that was binding when I moved the seat forward or backwards, check that so you don't break a strap while moving the seat.

those are epic man, best looking seat covers i've ever seen in a runner,
was that price just for the 2 fronts right? i want to do this before my seats get to worn as well.

I really like the combonation that you picked, the colour and the piping really go well together,I got to start saving up for a set of these,,great job,,,,,

Looks great man! :hatsoff:

I have Wet Okole's myself and they really are good quality seat covers. They fit so nicely that now I forget that they are even there (although they are more comfortable than just the stock seats alone) I have the ones with the black edges and the tan center.

DAAAAAAAA-YAM! Those are super nice. How did you order them and do you have the exact specs? I think I might be ordering a set sometime soon.

Very nicely done. :thumb3:

Thanks...Yes.. They are pretty nice. I got out this evening to meet friends for a brew. Liking the new covers for sure.

Specs are pretty much as noted in my original post. I did actually call and order rather than order online mostly because the TRD logo is not on the web site. I also had them email me a copy of the invoice and noticed they had put down "brown" piping instead of black. So I called them and had that changed. As long as it takes to have them made there was plenty of time to get the specs correct before they start making them.

I also thought from looking on the web site that the pockets behind the seats were just going to be pockets. They are actually zippered mesh pockets, pretty nice.

wow what a change, that looks really really clean compared to what u orginally had, however with that price, i cannot afford at the moment, however do they sell anything similiar to that? at like pep boys or something, i remmeber seeing something at pepboys like that for like 20 a seat and they are tight fitting too

Wow!! those are super nice!!!

how is the padding?? is it substantial??

I ask cuz my seats are kinda packed out from years and years of use and I feel lower in the seat because of it...

Im debating on copying you or getting some used leather seats out of a parting out ad I found on craigslist...

Update: I've had the Wet Okole's now for a few months and have gotten in and out it seems no less than 500 times. Since I took off the running boards I also tend to have to slide out and in a little rougher across the seat covers than if I could use the running boards as a step. That considered the seat covers have not moved at all and show no signs of wear at all. I'm 100% happy about the purchase.. Money well spent..

Yes the padding is noticeable and definitely helps my worn seat.. It feels like a new seat.

Sweet sounds like money well spent! Maybe I should have pulled the trigger a few months ago, when I first thought about it. Wet Okole had a 20% Military discount on their website back then, now it's gone... :(

Wow! Seat covers look sick. I've been looking for a good set of seat covers for a while now and yours are by far the best ones I've seen. They are pretty pricey and I probably won't get them because of that but they look great! Wish I could afford them but I'd rather spend the money on some fogs and a rack or something.
