Pro Comp 18x9 Knight Khrome and Cooper STT Mud Terrains

Alright, so I finally pulled the trigger on some new wheels. Just arrived yesterday from 4 Wheel Parts.

The last two photos show my new wheels sitting on my current full spare (285/70/17)

Specs:
Pro Comp Part # 9089-8983
Series 9089 Knight Khrome
18x9 with 4.75 Backspacing and -6mm Offset
Lug-centric

Had them test fitted today while I was in ordering my new 275/65/18 Cooper STT's. Everything looks good but I'll definitely be removing the Spidertrax wheel spacers I have on there. They protrude too far with the change in backspacing. Here are some photos until I get the wheels/tires mounted...

I do but I haven't made up my mind if I want to sell or keep them for back up. I have 285/70/17 Cooper STT's mounted on them right now with about 1/4th of the tread life left.
 
I had these same rims only they were 17x8. The back of the rim would rub on the brake caliper. Luckily my brother bought them off me and stuck them on his Tacoma. I know yours are bigger then what I had but I sure hope they fit.
 
i normally dont like the choices most members make on wheels when paired with serious offroad tires, but nicely done.
 
Thank you! I'm pretty excited about it. I sell real estate for a builder and I'm grand opening a new phase this weekend. The streets are not poured yet and we are supposed to get a huge thunderstorm tomorrow night, so I may have some new "offroading" photos to post by the end of the weekend...
 
did you have to do anything major to fit them? I wanted to install 285/65/18 Nitto Grapplers with 18x9 and 4.5" offset and the shop told me it couldn't be done. I told them I'd trim the front wheel well edge. difference is a .5" larger with the ones I wanted. What exactly did you have to change and do you think .5" larger would prohibit my using them? I have a 3" Revtek lift and 1.5" spidertrax (if I need them). Thanks for any help/advice.

first off your setup looks fantactic. looks like at somepoint i might be looking into a similar setup for mine.

question though. i just picked up an 06 SR5 and im looking for the time being to space out the stock 16's for a wider stance. what size are your spidertrax spacers? and do you have a before and after picture of when they were installed?
were they installed with your stock setup?

My wheel spacers were 1.25" (Spidertrax WHS-007) but unfortunately I don't have any "before" pics. Let me know if you I can answer anything else for you!
 
i saw your thread on installing the coopers and the spacers at the same time (i think that was the tire installed) on your stock wheels.
i have 265/70/16's right now and at this point just looking for a little wider stance. when i add the spacers do you think i will rub if i am sticking with a stock height and tire? what about a 275/70/16? i was looking into these as a possible replacement for my stock tires

i think they both come in either a 265/70/16 and 275/70/16

with the 1.25" spidertrax spacers, will i rub with stock suspension?
 
I love your wheels they look awesome. I was thinkink about buying the same wheels but in a 17x8. Someone else posted they rub the brake calipers. Does anyone else have any issues with rubbing with these wheels?
 
crazydubman, if you're just going for a wider stance, the spidertrax are going to be a good option for you. I have heard a TON of great feedback on the dueler A/T Revo's but the other tires are great options as well. I don't believe you are going to have any rubbing issues with the 265's but I have heard the 275's do rub when turning on the bumper. Good luck with your choice! Post photos after the dust has settled.
