New wheels, any issues with TPMS?

For those of you who swapped out your wheels, did you run into any issues with the TPMS? What did you do to fix it? I am looking at switching out my SR5 wheels but I am curious about any problems there might be with the TPMS.

Did they just move the TPMS over to your new rims? Did they have to re-calibrate it? What about your spare?

Discount tire just moved them over. No recalibration. I didn't touch the spare, so I don't know anything about it.

No problems so far, I've had new wheels for about 3 weeks now...

I used FJ Steel rims and had no issues, but they use the same TPMS system which may have made it easier for Discount Tire to move.

No problems here. Same tpms from stock and new wheels. 3 months now.

New rims were installed on my Limited about 6-weeks ago, they installed/moved the TPMS to the new rims, I made sure they put each TPMS back to it's original position on the rig, if it came from the passenger side front, that's where it was returned, no problems at all.:thumb3:

Good to hear! On my last car the stupid low pressure light kept coming on after I got new tires. I drove it around until I traded it in for my current 4runner.

Oh ya, and sorry I didn't mention before. TPMS = Tire Pressure Monitoring System!
