New Wheels for a '99 TLC

Greetings all,

After many sleepless nights and countless days lurking on this forum I finally pulled the trigger on a new truck. New for me, that is. I decided to go with a '99 Land Cruiser over the 4Runner, fulfilling a long-time dream. And once again, I'm at peace.

I'm posting this question on this forum as the folks here seem the most versed on all things Toyota...so here goes.

I'd like to get my new baby some new wheels. I'm a fan of the Tundra style and wanted to know if anyone knows if the would fit. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated? Thanks, in advance.

Congrats on the Land Cruiser! I still love those Land Cruisers.

To answer your question, no the Tundra wheels won't fit the TLC. For some reason, Toyota switched to a 5-lug wheel design on the current LC. The Tundra, Sequoia, 4Runner and most Tacomas use 6-lug wheels. Have you looked at the 18" wheels from the newer LC or LX470s? I like the way those look.

when i bought my used '94 toy pickup it had crappy tires on crappy wheels. i looked in the local classifieds for a couple of weeks until i found some guy who bought a new truck and wanted a big lift with big tires and was thus selling the brand new stuff that came on his truck for cheap. i picked up 5 brand new tundra rims with brand new tires for $375. hopefully you could do the same!
