New wheels next week Opinions needed

Hi Guys,

Next week I am having my 2007 Limited V8 4WD lifted and getting new tires and new wheels. The new tires will be the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in the 285-65-R18 size.

I am going to replace the OEM wheels that came on the 4Runner. Great wheels, but I want a change.

I have narrowed the new wheels down to 2 that I really like.

First is the RBP Widow

The second is the XD 775 Rockstar
XD Rockstar Wheels XD775 18X9 8X6.5" ( 8X165.1 ) Black +0 | XD77589080300

Both wheels come with a lifetime structural warranty and a 1 year warranty on the finish. I know that if I go with the XD Rockstars, I will not need wheel spacers, but I'm not sure about the Widows, but I do see they are available in several offsets or no offset.

The only negative reviews I have seen on the Rockstars is that the star in the center of the wheel is plastic. I can't tell about the cover on the Widows.

Any thoughts and opinions on these 2 wheels would be great in helping me decide.

when the rockstars came out, so many people start putting them on, it got played out. i never understand style of that design, maybe its kus i have a street style taste. but anyway, rockstars are played out. do something different.

Yea, I see a lot of the Rockstars here in Atlanta too. I just came across another wheel that I like this morning. It's the Fuel Assault. I had the local shop order a set of 4 for me (in addition to the Rockstars), so on Tuesday, I'm going to see each one in person and then decide.

I am leaning toward the Fuel Assaults. It is different and not nearly as common to see these. It's mostly black but the sides of each spoke have a nice machined edges.

I like the Method Racing wheel line up. My wife is running the Standards on here 4Runner and I have the same on order for mine. Hoping they show up this week.

Those are okay wheels. My gripe with any of that blackout type is here in Midwest I see them everywhere, mostly on trucks and jeep wranglers. Way too many to be unique in my neck of woods. Just do what you think you'd enjoy. GL
