Everything looks good on that color! That's my favorite 4runner color by far. I would suggest browsing the FJ, Tacoma and 4runner classifieds if you're trying to snag a set cheap.

I'm in the same boat of wanting new wheels for my shadow mica, and I really like the gunmetal color (specifically the fn fx pro wheels). But I agree that lots of oem offerings will look nice.

If your gunna go lifted with some mud tires... Go for some 18 or 20" black xd's (preferably rockstars) ;) ... It'd look sexy with that color!! :)

Not going to lift… its my daily driver and it works fine through the all terrain indain reservation roads. Also in L4 down the steep grades on the avocado ranch. What about the TRD's in graphite?

Ended up going with the TRD Pro…light and responsive...never been happier.
They couldn't get the Gunmetal and had one set of powder coated black. In fact one was one the display rack in the dealership lobby entrance so I had to nab them.

Those look great

The guy i bought my 14' sr 5 wheels had those. I tend to go with OE options so im not pissed when the rim gains a ding or grind on the lip. Oh and im cheap..:infidel:

Tommy,
First, {politely} reviving a months old post that already came to a conclusion is not the appropriate place to hock your wheels.

Second, this forum is sort of like the warehouse/friendly priced place to find great deals between members. The going rate for what you're selling is $400-$500 depending on how nice you'd care to be. Perhaps they'll sell here at your price point, but you're more likely to have quick success selling on Craigslist at that $$$.

I just put the wheels off a 2016 TE and removed the wheels spacers. $300 for the set and I sold off my old sport rims\tires as well as the wheel spacers so worked out well. Truck rides alot better without the wheel spacers and the duratracs that they struggled with balancing.

Looks nice. What's your suspension setup and what size are the tires? I've been looking at those wheels.

I am just running FJ springs with the Bilstien Adjustable shocks and the tires are 265 70 17. Nothing crazy but it gets me to the remote places I want to go and drives great on the freeway. When I bought the tires all that had was in the Load E and finally switched to Load C today but Discount has to order me another tire because it took close to 12 ounces to balance one of the tires. Of course they tried to stick it on the back and send me on the way but I have a small shake in the steering wheel. I went back then they decided to mention it and order a replacement.

How did spacers change the ride?

How did spacers change the ride?

To be fair the spacers came off, the new rims with a different offset as well as new tires all at once but it just feels more in tune with the road and alot smoother. I am sure most if not all of what I am feeling is the new tread but either way I am happy to not have to worry about the spacers anymore.
