Hey guys. My rear wiper blade quite moving a couple months ago. Noticed the thread part of the shaft was broken clean off and no where to be found. It looks like it had been gone for a while with the rust and cobweb that had formed in it's place. Anyway, I just put on a replacement from the yard and I've noticed that I'm getting about a 1" smaller sweep on both sides of the wipe. It still returns properly when turned off, but during it's actual wipe is short in both directions. I was lucky enough to find the same year vehicle so I doubt I got the wrong part. Any ideas what might be going on here?

I haven't heard if that one before. Especially if it's an oem junk yard motor. Should be identical sweep

1st thing i'd do is make sure u've tightened the nut down to spec, could be a little slippage between the two joints.... just a thought
Mhhh you might be on to something there. I do recall the splines not looking too great on the wiper side and I was afraid to really crank it down with the old one breaking. Maybe I'll order just that piece from the stealership. Thanks guys!
