Hey you all!
Well i just got my first 4Runner, but have been a Toyota driver since day one. The Family grew and my wife said i had to get rid of my T100 so i went with a 92 4Runner I love it. I got a killer deal on it but as i have started to look into customizing it i have started to find the problems. So any advise on any of them would be great.
I bought it knowing that it had been in a wreck but so as i started to do a little body work i noticed that it was more then the guy told me. in short the front right side needs to be pulled right and forward body wise cause the hood doesn't line up and the and now after i was straighting it, it has troubles shutting also the right side bumper mount is bent back so the bumper is way off. If anyone know of how to fix that with out going to a shop let me know. Then next thing that worries me is a ticking noise that only comes when i'm at specific RPM's or speed. I think that i might be a valve but not sure.
I'm hoping that as soon as i can take care of my minor body issues i can start making a custom bumper. I have been fallowing T4R.org since the day i thought about getting a 4Runner and you all have given me some good ideas. Thanks you all. Hope some of you have some good advise.
