New Year's Ice Wall

Here's a snapshot I took this morning of an ice cascade on the Seward Highway, about 20 minutes from my house.
The light was very flat because of light snow and near whiteout conditions.

Great pics, JP! Looks like you're having a great time with the new truck in the snow! Enjoy it and the Collings C-10!!

jpalaska - What ice wall? :bouncy: Nice color you got there. It looks nicer with great background.

How do those tires handle the thick icey snow? What kind of speed did you do so that you still felt you have full control on the ground?

Cheers

The stock Dunlops do OK on ice and snow.
I'm comfortable driving 70-75 mph on a snowy highway.

Wouldn't that be exceeding the legal posted limit:biggrin2:

It was a slow vehicle pull-off, completely off the highway.
Since that photo we've had an additional 20 inches of snow, then the temp dropped below zero (F), with an ice fog this AM.
It's quite beautiful here.
