I keep a bucket with bottom cut out of it and a bucket toilet seat on hand with me. Dig a little hole, plop the bucket down and done deal.

I also have one of those bathroom/shower type of tents that you can borrow...

Funny you posted that, as I was just looking at those privacy tents. Seems like it would work perfect for the girls so they are more comfortable on some of our more remote trips.

With that bucket, a nice little hole dug and some baby wipes it’s almoat like home! Run it by the wifey and see what she says. I’ll get it set up nice. Glamping At It’s Finest!

Did some wheeling this weekend. In doing a post-wheeling inspection, I noticed my right coilover has a small leak as it is dripping off my LCA. The only time I can get it rebuilt is the week of 12/25, which is when my kids are out of school and my wife wouldn't need to use the other car. Called DC Shocks in San Dimas, and their turn around time is pretty good, but it is still 4-5 business days, which is gonna put me out of commission for the shin dig. Sorry man. Have a blast and post lotsa pics on January 2!

You guys laugh but my chic uses those ones called GO GIRL ... for the last couple years and uses them at any out door events ...that only have porta pots.
It’s cool to have your chic standing side by side with you taking a leak together ...just pissing in da wind

I have a brand new camping toilet n the box sealed if you want it’s custom one that holds water and flushes also have a new bottle of the solution you add for no stank...it was $60 bucks

Sounds like I would be interested in it. Pm me what you want for it and i’ll pick up a potty tent and move on to shopping for more fun gear lol. I just picked up a recovery strap, receiver shackle kit, and an ARB EZ deflator that I can play with on this trip. Now I just need to get a power tank or dual ARB compressor under the hood to avoid cooking my my Viair 88p after filling 4 tires. Bless it’s little heart, it gets the job done!
Is having a spare gas can a necessity for this run? All I have laying around is a 2 gal red el cheapo gas can that I’d really rather not strap to the roof because I doubt it’s 100% leak proof. I’m smart enough to know not to put gas cans in the cab either.

Well I listed the *estimated mileage’s for each day starting at the gas station where everyone will meet. But add in detours, attractions, and grabbing gears may severely effect miles per tank. Total trip should be at least 100 miles

I always carry a 5gallon having only 18g tank on my 3rd gen. Last time I carried 2 5g but filled up at 29 palms before entering the park. Always use more gas stop n go. Day 1 route is further before getting to chilitown. I would carry 5g just in case.

I usually top off anywhere I can before hitting a trail I know will push my gas tank’s range, but need to get a 5 gal jerry can at some point. Someone school me on the old steel vs newer plastic ones. I know the epa banned the older ones (I believe due to the venting design?) but don’t know which ones have better seals/ spouts and whatnot. I see them on Craigslist occasionally but don’t really know what I’m looking at in regards to price vs performance.
