You can have Miah's welding experiment that's currently on top of my runner. It's two Smitty bilt holders welded together. I've got a dual can holder that will be getting welded onto the new bumper.

I have 2 bundles of firewood to bring. Does BLM allow ground fires out there?

I’m still trying to figure out how to mount a Jerry can to my factory roof rack. I bought a single 5 gal jerry can tray locally (like the pic attached) but it’s intended for mounting the can upright, which may not be easy to figure out. [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] , is it too late for you to get another black or green NATO can? I was thinking of picking up an older Blitz jerry can, but after lots of research they seem to be more trouble than they’re worth because of leaky nozzles and the hard to find gas cap wrench they use.

I just tied the cans to the rack with a strap last year when we did death valley. Just make sure it doesn't fall off.

As far as fires go. Chilitown has multiple fire rings set up from our previous trips. Including one huge ring in the middle of camp.

Yeah, that sounds sketchy af Danny! A steel can full of gas falling off and sparking is all i can envision! I’ll get it figured out lol.

It’s the whole doing 70 on the freeway to get out there that worries me! Freeway asphalt + full metal gas can = gonna have a bad time lol (any South Park fans?)
