New Years Run 2018

Ya day 1 meet is still a go. There are a few people arriving later in the day/weekend that I was asking to pm me, that is all.
Only guy I know heading out there Friday is bergster cuz he’s pretty local and willing to take a whole truck load of wood out there for us, a day early
 
Had to add a few notes to the OP, so everyone coming take heed

***Some of the roads in the route have no documention of being travelled anytime recently so we may encounter washed out sections that would require either turning around or working our way through it, it will depend on the group and actual condition of the road

Any way of getting a KMZ or KML of the trip? Maybe offline if you don't want to publish it? I've got my baufang bf-f8hp and learning how to use it. Takes some time to figure it all out but looking good. I was hoping to add the kmz to my GAIA mapping app so I could follow along on our progress.


Hmm looks like GAIA GPS doesn't directly accept KMZ. Looks like ill have to figure out how to convert it to their format. By the way, what are most of you using for navigation?

This will be my first trip using LeadNav. I’ve been trying to share my files but it’s not working and only trying to send as a .zip file. Even though the program can convert just about anything when I import them...working on it lol.

Only a few trails I have routed aren’t on a map so you can get a good idea of our route just looking at the roads I have listed.

All good, my list has been growing by the day the last two weeks. Just finished the last item on that list though lol

So It looks like I can't go. I had my truck in the shop for an unexpected issue. It should have been done but they're keeping it until Monday, at the earliest. It was just a refill and bleed of the KDSS system.

Totally bummed out. Would have been my first in the 4runner.

Not sure how often you guys do these but hopefully more often than once a year. I'll be on the next one. Have a great time!.

If my 2001 2wd base model baby Tacoma would have made it id just take that but not a chance.
 
There’s always something going on around here. At least 1-3 runs of some kind a month. The bigger runs we try for once a month sometimes less.
 
Oh oh starting to drop... but plenty of other runs coming up. We always put somekind of run monthly.
