Newb... Advice on misc ext changes

Longtime lurker, but still Newb poster here....

Just bought a clean 06 Sport Edition. 70k, for 14.5k Immaculate charcoal cloth interior. It's white, its stock...... CLE Ohio area.

Anyway. Looking for black trim to contrast a few things. Been searching, but if anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate. Black door handle covers? Black Mirror covers? Seems a black tailgate trim (above the license plate) would be cool. A 3m taped cover might be nice if done well. But may paint it w/plasti dip or? Not sure. A cover seems hokey.

Contemplating a 1 inch front lift to even it. and maybe a few other recommendations from the expert's here.

Welcome to our forum! I have an '05 Sport Edition and I guess I cannot get into the black trim thing. However, a lot of people, here on T4R.org, like to plasti-dip their grill and some also like to plasti-dip their OEM wheels as well. I guess it just seems awfully white, lol. It's growing on me. But, seems bland maybe? Some black would seem a nice contrast if done subtle. I think? lol... Maybe I'm wrong. You've all probably thought about it them more than me.

Too funny. I turned down a pristine 70k white SR5 months ago because it was well, white. 30 vehicles later, full circle, I find this and it was too nice to pass. Slim pickens for clean ones in Ohio etc.

Look, I was not big on white either, but there is a white, lifted 4th gen V8 4x4 in our classifieds section which I would purchase in a heartbeat if this were a little later in the year.

Ahh, pretty much what I have, with mine minus the mods. Same price range really. They are good looking in white. It's growing on me more and more Every color has its pluses and minuses and most every one is attractive really. I started out wanting silver and sort of went to galactic gray or mica. But, white is feeling good.

The 285's like yours are sounding quite nice

A black bull bar and the blackout headlamps may just do the right "black offset"

Plasti dip would definitely be the way to go because you're not 100% sure you'll like the black. But I'm sure you will white is the best color to use plasti dip in my opinion because there's so much contrast. I wanted a white 4R but ended up with a blue one. I'm very happy with it. For what it's worth, I think blue is the absolute prettiest color for the 4th gen. Silver would be my second choice. I ended up with Galactic Gray because that's what the wife wanted way back in 2005 when we purchased it and blue was special order only. My dream T4R is a 2009 blue V8 4x4 Sport Edition. Never seen one... Ever. Oh well.

I've got both Shadow Mica and Natural White. I love the Shadow Mica but my new Natural White is really growing on me fast (I got it a month or so ago). The picture color in my sig is way off. I really need to take a new one with the correct white balance.
