I found an 88 4runner 4sale close to my house, but it needs some (well actually a lot) cosmetic work done to it. Runs pretty well, but anyways here are my questions;
1. does anyone make rear replacement skins for the rear fenders?
2. how hard is it to find a rear tailgate (one not rusted) with a rear window with a good track on it?
3. anyone make a decent inexpensive lift kit (3-4") that doesn;t cost a grand?

thats it for now... if i think of anymore questions i'll ask, thanks ppl

I don't know about the first two, but for lifts, you can get a 4" lift from superlift, procomp, rough country, and I think trailmaster. They all are the same type of lift. They drop the front control arm brackets and they range from $500-$800. Then you could always do the $30 lift I did and get like 1.5-2" in the front and 3" in the rear ( the rear naturally hangs lower) by cranking the torsion bars in the front and going to autozone and getting the helper springs for the rear. I have to warn you the ride is stiff and there is no flex offroad, but it lifts your vulnerable underbelly and allows you to clear bigger tires for only $30. I plan on making the suspension softer soon by getting real lift springs and larger torsion bars, but it makes a fun ride:D
